I have debugged extensively & as far as I know my SHFILEOPSTRUCT is correct (correct flags used. When it first started happening, it would begin the update but then stop with the error shfileOperation failed: 78 cant copy over new files.If the error is occuring because I am using SHFileOperation on Windowsħ what solution could I use to make this work on all versions of windows from 2000 & up? I am using Windows 7 (& I know that MSDN says to use IFileOperation instead of SHFileOperation but I want to make my app backwards compatable which is why I am using SHFileOperation).Can you help me discover the definitions of these errors (expecially when you consider with this function, the errors are not part of the Now when the function SHFileOperation() fails the return values are 0x57 (decimal 87) & 0x2 (decimal 2). Its greatest advantages are: (A) It has the smallest RAM footprint of all the many browsers I have tried, and (B) It is waaaay faster than all the many browsers I have tried. If you use the portable version, download the latest version of the portable version archive and extract it into the folder where the current version of Slimjet portable sits. Slimjets GUI, on the other hand, is fairly utilitarian. I am using the function SHFileOperation() to send a file to the recycling bin.
